When playing Fallout 4 my AMD Radeon R9 270X temperature gets to around 64 - 65 Degrees, Im planning on getting the MSI 970 Nvidia graphics card, what temperature will that graphics card get up to for me?

Solution
those temps are perfectly fine for that graphics card. the 970 may not get up so high because it may not have to work as hard but those temps on your 270x are perfectly fine

Ok thank you, also I dont suppose you know why I keep getting random FPS drops, it happens alot on Arma 3, I get high fps everywhere 50-60 and then it drops to 1 and the game freezes, then it'll do it again, same has been happening for Fallout 4, people are saying its because I have a 5400RPM hard drive? is this true?

Its probably because of your graphics card, your CPU, or a mixture of both. I know that Arma 3 is a CPU intensive title. What cpu are you running? it might be your CPU bottle necking the system or you have the setting turned up too high. As for fallout 4, its probably the graphics card. Since there is Nvidia Game works Optimization in the game, the game dosent run too well on AMD cards with some settings turned on. id recommend turning off volumetric light and turning off TXAA. Hope this helps :p

My CPU is the Intel Core i5 3350P @ 3.10GHz but it cant be bottlenecking because people say that the MSI 970 will work fine with my i5 3350P?

Bottlenecking is not the idea of something not working fine with something else, bottlenecking is when a component in the machine is slower than all the others and it slows the whole machine down because of it.

but with arma, you might get less fps because its more cpu dependent
