bios detect 500 gb internal hdd but windows 7 installation did'nt

my system config..500gb hdd,2 gb ram,intel core 2 duo processor,g-41 chipset
my hdd is detected in bios but when windows 7 o.s is installed it shows no disks to install means it detects no hdd......again process repeats restart computer again install o.s again same problem repeats....please say any solution to this,...;.

You can start with updating your BIOS drivers.
If the issue persists, then you can try to format the drive before the installation:
- Once you are in Windows setup, press shift+F10 to bring up the command line.
- diskpart [enter]
- list disk [enter]
- select drive [number] [enter]
- clean all [enter]
- create partition primary [enter]
- select partition 1 [enter]
- active [enter]
- format fs=ntfs [enter]
- assign [enter]
- exit [enter]
- exit [enter]
