My uncle is wanting me to upgrade his desktop to the fullest.

It is quite old however.

I was telling him that he needs an new case, but he does not want a new case, so I am practically be needing to use the same case with new upgrades.

Anyway, here is the PCPartPicker list I made...

The budget is $600, but can go up slightly if absolutely needed. Would all the parts be able to fit into the case? I honestly am having a bit of a hard time when it comes to off-the-shelf cases and upgrading; most, if not all, don't offer as much upgrade-ability as building your own or purchasing a custom one via online.

He does not game; he just uses his laptop for the general use. His desktop is practically just for his grandchildren to play games on it - mainly flash games and a couple online games that don't really require much in a computer.

Anything else you need, let me know and I'll try my best to be of help.

Solution
You should be good to go. The only real issue you're going to run into is the front panel connectors to the motherboard. You may need to break it down to single wires.
