Some of my games will randomly close while I play them, and i know it's coming when the frames drop and I get a little lag. Ca

I downloaded HWiNFO but can't run it cause it says i have to check user rights and antivirus filters. But I can tell you that sometimes this will happen even when i first start up my computer, therefore when there's almost no heat. Otherwise, it's pretty hot when the game crashes and I might have been playing for 45 minutes or 1 hour maximum at that point. Do you see any limiting hardware listed there that i should upgrade? (The specific game giving me trouble is Fallout 4 btw)

This sounds like there's not a game running at that point so when gaming it just makes it more apparent.Might still be heat if the fan doesn't work properly at that point.

Is the ram running at rated specs? Can look with cpu-z (freeware) at the memory tab for the current speed and timings and look at the spd tab for what it should be.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. What I meant was that the game, Fallout 4, will shut down at certain points within itself whether i've been playing for 2 hours or 2 minutes. I'm guessing that my graphics card cannot handle whatever's going on, which are usually high light situations, fire effects. parts of the map with 6+ enemies, and large explosion effects. Once again, I don't know much about computers, but I figure the problem is overloading a certain piece. I'm going to clean my fan with compressed air right now and see what that does.
