Hello,

I just bougth a new GTX 970 that replaced my old GT 440. When I did that I also replaced my PSU , a 500W PSU to a Corsair VS650 PSU. (Cause the 500W PSU did not have any 6 pin connectors). But whenever I'm playing a game, after 10 to 30 minutes my computer shuts down. Or when I'm stresstesting with the MSI Afterburing software the PC stops working after a maximum of 5 minutes. (There are no warnings like BSOD or beeb codes, and the PC does not restart). Its like the computer isn't powered, it wont turn on if you press the power botton. I need to turn off the power switch on the PSU and turn it back on after 5 or more seconds and then I can turn on the computer again.

My CPU is always below 50C and is not overclocked. The GPU is always below 70C and is also not overclocked. Drivers are up to date and the computer was stable when it had the GT 440 in it.

What do I need to do to fix this problem? Please help.

Motherboard: Asrock 970 Extreme4
CPU: AMD FX-4350
GPU: (MSI) Geforce GTX 970 4GB
RAM: 8GB
PSU: Corsair VS650
SSD: SanDisk Extreme Pro 240GB
HDD: 500GB
OS: Windows 10

Usually for gaming/oc a tier 1 or tier 2 is recomended for a basic system you can get away with a tier 3.
Any of these on the tier 1 or 2 list would work well for you,
