which graphics card is better?

well i have recently received an offer for the PALiT GeForce GTX 960 JetStream 4GB GDDR5 Graphics for £160.
but i have also won an ebay auction for the Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB GDDR5 4k PCI-Express Graphics Card
also for the same price. now my question is which one should i get? or is there a third better option? please answer and thanks in advance!

The R9 290 is a couple of performance steps above the GTX 960. Which one you choose is up to you. The R9 290 will require more power from your PSU, so that may be a consideration. The 960 will run cooler and quieter most likely, but you will be limited to 1080p in games with high settings. The AMD will work for 1440p.

thanks man i have a pretty beefy PSU at the moment so the power shouldn't be a problem so thanks for the help!
