Hi,
I am deciding between these two mother boards:
1). GIGABYTE GA-Z170XP-SLI (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-128-841
2). GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.0) LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-128-837
My CPU is a Intel i5 6500, and my GPU is a EVGA GTX 970. The only reason I favor the Z170 boards is because they seem to be the only ones that actually support SLI ( can't find others, don't care too). Also, I may get a k version CPU in the future to overclock. My primary use is gaming. I also cannot bend my budget much further as I have already exceeded my max price . The max price I can do is $150, and it has to be off of NewEgg, as in getting all my other equipment from there and it's easier for it to be in all one order.
Thanks,
Eric
