Hi everyone!!
So just recently my roommate and I got an Ethernet switch to use between my laptop and his surface pro 3, both running Windows 10. While my laptop works fine in terms of internet connections my roommate on the other hand is unable to connect to the wired network. And each time he tries to troubleshoot the problem the message," Ethernet 2 does not have a valid IP configuration". Neither of us are tech literate enough to solve this problem so we ask for any advice on how to resolve this situation.
