Should I use TN or IPS panel for console gaming?

I know that TN panels have faster response time and better refresh rates while IPS has better color reproduction. My question is, for console gaming, will there be any benefits with TN panels or should I just go with IPS? Input lag is major for me. I am looking at Benq gl2760h and Acer G277HL. I want the color of IPS but also low input lag though input lag is a higher priority. I don't care about refresh rate and response time since it is only console gaming. Will IPS panels have good input lag?

EDIT: BTW I know I posted this in PC gaming but it seems you guys would be more knowledgeable

I like that last Edit to make people get a bigger Ego boost :D.
So, here is the thing:
IPS is a better technology in color reproduction than TN but it will still come down to individual models (so a TN monitor CAN have better color reproduction than IPS, but in most case it wont).

Input lag in monitors is almost always very good (its TVs that are more problematic with this), so unless you choose a VERY bad monitor, input lag should not be a problem at all.
Look at response time thou. You want about 5ms black to white to black (not grey to gray, also called G/G) or lower.
This is important as it should guarantee no ghosting effects.

As you can see, all acer and benq monitors have excellent input lag results.

Last thing, Once you get the monitor, learn all you can about CALIBRATION.
Your monitor will come with not the best calibration it can have, and for free (well, except time lost online to learn about how to calibrate), you will be able to increase its quality.
