I need to build a pc with i5 4690 that is under $500 including case and motherboard, pc , etc I already have a decent gpu so no need to bother. I need a cheaper motherboard that is compatible with that cpu, also need a psu and case that are compatible with everything. On board wi-if not needed as I already have at least 2 spare USB wi-fi adapters :) any help appreciated, as I NEED to know this before Christmas or I'll have to wait until next year, AGAIN! (My mom keeps sending me texts of cheap pc's that cost like $200 and she seems to thing "oh he can put better parts in that and upgrade it) heck no last year she got me a pc with a core 2 duo, that thing won't even play minecraft because minecraft and MOST of the other games I play require a lot of cpu power not gpu. Anyhow what motherboard/case/psu, etc will I need to get a pc bellow $500 (also preferable easier to build because this is my first build and I'm only 14 with no one to help build it. :(. Thanks again , hope I posted this under the right category/topic.

Rebate free build - included a 1tb hard drive & a 120gb ssd.

If you don't need the 1tb up the ssd to a 850 evo 240gb model

Thing is, I can't do it - you need an OS and Microsoft Windows costs too much. Here is hte best I can come up with. Make sure you order the OS on a USB stick, you don't have an optical drive. :)

Sorry, I just spotted an error. I will repost.

Here's a revised build. Still a little more expensive. And using a micro-ATX board is a little more complicated. Hence the modular power supply htat costs a little more, but you might appreciate the lack of cable clutter.

Maybe um raise budget to $550 and I already have Windows OS on a spare flash drive from a previous build and I already have a spare hard drive that works fine and is 1tb (also if ever really needed I could go buy a cheap USB powered optical drive :). Any other build you know of that might work? Any help GREATLY appreciated :) thanks again I'll be waiting for a response.

What GPU do you have? Assuming that you have something like a GTX 770, here's a build with a i5-4690.
It does not have a hard drive, a GPU or an OS.

You could add a 120GB 850 Evo SSD in there if you want, it'll up the cost by $62, to $527. It'll be sure worth it though.
If you want a larger motherboard, you could go for the Asus H97-Plus at $99. Total will go to $485.

So many choices! Thanks everyone. Can I keep getting some more options (budget is 400-450 MAX is 450 unless HUGE difference. Also I have a 550ti gpu and I have a 1tb wd blue and a spare Windows 7 from an old build :) Also I would like it to have quiet fans but MOST IMPORT needs to be UNDER $451 unless a big difference. Basically all I need is a psu, case, motherboard, ram and maybe an upgraded stock cpu fan and obviously the cpu (which the cpu has to be an i5 4690 or a i5 4690k) and everything needs to be 100% compatible and tested.
