Hey does anyone know why my PC emitted a bad chemical/burned plastic smell from it. I did check the PSU,mobo and the PC overall and not a single trace of melting or bad smell was found inside the PC... The smell was just AROUND the PC and my room.
The processor is around 40 celsius when on idle and max has been 68 celsius on load
Setup is
CPU: AMD-FX 8350 4.0Ghz
GPU:Msi gtx 960 4gb
Mobo:Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3, AMD AM3+, 990FX/SB950, DDR3, ATX
Ram: 16GB
PSU:silverstone 600w strider essential gold 80 plus gold
For cooling i have
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo
Other fans: 2x Arctic Cooling Arctic F12 PWM, 120 x 120 x 25, 600-1350RPM
+ the fans that came with my case which is bitfenix comrade
