I'm sorry if this has already been resolved but is there an accurate powersupply calculator out there? or a program we can install like CPUz that detects the hardware and computes the power consumption?
yea, a Casio and Google. they're a good match to calculate stuff on your own. you know, do some research, find out what you have, add some numbers, etc.
There are a few places where you can plug in your computers parts and get an idea of what the max load would be for the system. This is one such place http://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator
But if you're trying to get real time power loads, after you've already build the system you'd have to go off SR-71s suggestion.
