Power supply working on new components and Windows 10 question

I want to upgrade and get the new sky lake i7 6700k and a asus Z170 pro with 16gbs of ram and I have a 970 already from evga so I was wondering if my 500 watt power supply would work. I currently have an i5 4670k over clocked at 3.8 and the 970 not over clocked.

My other questions is will my 1Tb Windows 10 hard drive boot up my new motherboard or do I need a bootable flash drive?

^^ do not try that one the W is over what you need and from what I believe to be true its not suitable for this kind of setup, try getting an XFX model or an EVGA 650w G2 these are top tier PSU's I personally have one and couldn't be happier with it.
