So this is my first build, I've had this issue for a while and I looked everywhere for a solution with no luck.
I have plugged everything in except for a cable that comes out of the case, the cable is covered in some sort of flame retardant fabric, has a 3 hole connector. The cable has written "125c 600v vw-1 HFT (0.05)" I don't see anywhere where I could plug this in, I looked online for what it could be but I found nothing. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with me not being able to see the display but its the only thing not plugged in.

Specifications
AMD FX-4300 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Hitachi Ultrastar 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
and the monitor, LG 20M37D-B 60Hz 19.5" Monitor

I am sure the monitor works since I have connected it to my laptop and it worked.
Any help would be very appreciated

Also, another question, I have connected the 4 pin PSU cable as well as a 24 pin one, at first I just that the 24 pin plugged, it turned on and everything but no display, then I plugged the 4 pin in aswell but no difference, the computer still turned on but no display. Should I leave them both plugged in or should I disconect the 4 pin?

I am tring to conect it to the monitor using a VGA cable, I saw some posts where people had thesame issue but fixed it using a VGA to DVI converter, would that work?

That motherboard has on board graphics but requires either an HDMI cable, DVI-D cable and has a D sub port as well so a VGA cable should work. A VGA to DVI D may well work but i'm not 100% certain. As far as I can tell the VGA cable should work.
