OK so yesterday i was playing cs go and my computer goes through a strange stage where the movement laggs but its not my internet and in teamspeak it does it as well. so i changed my cpu that had thermal paste on it with my other one (without) and then my computer would keep shutting down and restarting. so then i swapped the other one back in (with) and it does the same thing, i think a lot of the thermal paste fell off. so i was wondering if it was just the thermal paste or if it is something else please help!

Also my pc doesnt shut down when im just on chrome or on teamspeak ect it only shuts down when i go on a game like cs go or dayz! this is why i think its a heat issue.

Anyway thanks for Looking :)

Thermal paste is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL. Without it your CPU overheats when it works too hard and shuts itself down to prevent itself from getting fried.
