Black flag supposed to run on ultra but I get 40 fps on medium alone.

Specs:
Gtx 750 ti strix (2gb, OC)
i7 3770
8gb ram
2tb hdd

I'm getting problems with all assassin games. First one was with AC rogue which didn't load objects at all. Then I downloaded newest version of the driver and it ran quite well. But now black flag's lag is terrible. All I get is 40 fps on medium. Geforce experience recomends ultra and game debate shows me that I can run it on high as well.
Help me with this problem please. Is it software's fault or hardware issues and what can I do to fix it.

No way is a 750 ti going to run black flag at ultra at an acceptable frame rate, medium settings is right were I would expect the 750 ti to be comfortable with that game. Those calculators are far from accurate and geforce experience almost never gives me a good recommendations either the settings are too high or too low.

your video card is definitely not capable of maxing out any of the past few AC games. the 750ti is not a bad card but it is a lower-end mainstream card. you cpu on the other hand wouldnt be holding you back
