Hi there, I am writing to you for my problem with my RAM and MB since I build my RIG. My problem is very specific. I have no XMP support for my 2400MHZ TridentX CL10 memory on the Hero VII. I did many tests and I also RMA the Memmory once, maybe the problem is in the MB itself. It will not boot every time I install a new BIOS. It will boot with MEMCHECK and on 1333 CL 13. It didn't booted even when I build it for a first time.After many headaches I managed to push it to 1800 8-9-9-24 on 1.5V. I also decided not to RMA the MB, because of the great sound. From Asus told me to use memory specified in their QVL list, which does not include mine. Which is very strange, because ASUS HERO VI does support the Trident in the second revised version of the QVL. On GSKILL website it says that it is supported. I did re-install my cpu and cooler 4 times already, due to fear of too much pressure on the pins that may result in that issue. Even that from the first time I did install everything perfect with a descent pressure on the screws. I don't know what to do anymore. I am still waiting for that new BIOS that may support it one day. I live in Canada, we have Microbytes here, my RIG is from NEWEGG. I asked in Microbytes about the HERO VII and they basically told me that they are having lots of people returning some of the motherboards due to poor memory support. Please help figure this thing out. One more thing, even if I increase the clock only with 50mhz the system will not boot. No auto OC too. OC is possible only through the multiplayer.
