I have a pre built pc HP Pavilion 500-134eo
which has :
300w power supply
i5 4440
radeon hd 8470

Would i be able to switch the radeon hd 8470 with a EVGA Geforce GTX 750 ti sc and be fine?
Or will i run out of power?

Solution
So it uses a two rail design, one rail has 144W the other 192W. Under load and in hot conditions we can take those down to let's say 110W and 150W. So you should be fine undoubtedly.

Pretty slim wattage on the PSU, and it is most likely not a good quality PSU at that, so I would say you may be lucky or you may endanger your components. Pretty much up to you if you feel lucky.

How many amps does the 12V rail claim?

Personally, I would upgrade to a high quality 400-450W range unit though. Just my opinion.

you should be ok. the card only uses 60w according to evga which is very little. the 4440 also sips the power. together, you should not have any issues, even with the stock 300w psu.

i doubt you will see any power problems with this upgrade.
