My computer powers off without warning. I can be doing anything from a stress test to being idle. Always within 1-20 min. I did Hardware tests and everything is working fine. And i cannot stress enough, its not heat. My CPU never goes above 40 C, my GPU never reaches even that. I checked my power supply fan and that is working. Hell, I even went as far as changing power strips and changing outlets. Still turned off. I am completely flabbergasted by what could be wrong. The only thing I haven't checked is the case. But could that be causing it, its a relatively new case? I am getting the Antec 900 soon and can switch it out with that. Please help.

I have a Gigabyte 1155 socket MB and started having problems with phantom resets after installing Win 10. Turned out to be Gigabyte Easy Tune 6 - the program is hard to delete, finally had to google it and then also delete the ET6 folder but my problem went away after getting rid of it. Make sure your Gigabyte MoBo oc sw is Win10 compatible if you are on Win10 and go from there.

I thought it was Windows 10 as the problem occurred slightly before installing it. I did a Hard Wipe of the system and installed Windows 7 Ult. Also, I forget to mention that it will not turn off until I unplug the power cord and flip the PSU switch of then on again. Not sure if that is important but whatever. lol

Instant black screen. No warning just black. And it wont turn on unless I unplug the power cord and plug it back in. I looked on another thread with the same problem and he said it was the PSUs surge protection powering the system off to protect if from the surge of the outlet. I am going to test the outlets later.
