Hello folks,
I'm trying to build a PC. The purpose of PC is:

  • Programming
    Using Virtual Machines
    Gaming (sometimes)
After googling a lot of stuff. I decided my parts are the following:

    AMD A10-5800K APU 3.8Ghz Processor AD580KWOHJBOX

    ASUS Micro ATX DDR3 2400 Motherboards A55BM-Plus/CSM

    DDR3: 8GB

    EVGA 500 B1 80+ BRONZE, 500W Continuous Power, 3 Year Warranty Power Supply 100-B1-0500-KR

Corsair Hydro Series Cooling H75 Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (CW-9060015-WW)

Are these part going to be enough to do the job?
The processor comes with GPU, hd 7660d graphics; is this a good APU (and GPU)?
Are there better CPUs?

I wish you guys help me! Thanks

Your power supply is "Tier 3" - which I believe people would define as OK for PCs you arent doing anything extreme on, like high overclocking or multiple GPUs. But I think most people knowledgeable about PSUs would recommend going with at least a tier 2 PSU, as they have more safety features and more power regulation.
Here is a list of some PSUs and their tier level

Here is a tier 1 PSU for a bit more than the B1

Even though both are sold by EVGA, they are manufactured by other companies and rebranded as EVGA. The B1 is made by a company called HEC, while the G2 is made by Super Flower.

So, I guess I'm...

So, I guess I'm not saying you have picked out a BAD PSU, but it is cheap for a reason. Definitely could do worse, but if your budget allows, it is usually worthwhile to invest in higher quality power supplies, as it may prolong the lifetime of your other components. Plus, the G2 has a 7 year warranty, vs the 3 year warranty of the B2
