Bitfenix Prodigy m blocking power supply air flow

I recently bought a Prodigy m case and I've found that the solid front panel blocks airflow to the power supply causing it to over heat and shut down after a while. I should have bought the black one with the mesh front plate but its a bit too late now. Is there a way to solve this problem?

I've considered cutting ventilation into the front plate but I really don't want to do that until I've considered all other options. I've tried looking for mesh front plates for the m version of the case but most listings do not say if the m model is supported and measurements are rarely listed.

Is the "M" model the micro-ATX model? In my workshop I have a Bitfenix Prodigy case that was damaged - the handles were cracked off. I'll have a look tomorrow and see what it does for front ventilation. From what I can recall there wasn't any issues with it. Are you sure you mounted the power supply correctly to take air in from the bottom and vent it out the back?

The M model is for micro-ATX. The power supply is actually mounted vertically at the front with the intake for the fan facing the matte front panel. I've actually solved my problem since posting the question. Apparently the M model has basically the same dimensions as regular Prodigy so I just bought an ugly mesh front plate and spray painted it black.
