i'm able to connect and surf the internet but cannot logon to any servers such as TeamSpeak or others

I am able to go to any internet site and check email. I have completely factory reset my PC but I still cannot get my PC to logon to servers such as TeamSpeak or Vent

I believe that I have but It still says error or login server down
I put in my external IP and Local IP and the 8767 required for TeamSpeak with protocol set to UDP

Forwarding ports involves going into your router settings and setting port 8767 to your computers local IP. You also have to check the computer's firewall and make sure you punched a hole for that port as well. Since every firewall and router is different I can't help you with that.

If that seems a bit much, check you router settings for a setting called DMZ. Place your computers local IP address in the DMZ. It's not ideal but it will eliminate port forwarding as a potential problem. If that works then you can go about and try to forward the proper ports.
