Hi! I have Ultra PSU 600w with 1 6pin connector, how should I plug it in? It seems that fans are working, but computer doesn't see it. It says PCI-E on this connector, it is 1 6-pin connector.
an r9 290x requires 1 6pin and 1 8 pin connector. But your PSU is just 600 W and probably doesn't even have enough amperage on 12V rails to power your gpu

Yep both need to be plugged in to work and that psu sux big time on amp delivery. the use of adapters on that psu would be not good

lol 32 amps will not run that gpu much less the whole system.
