Wellcome to my thread

My gpu is the gtx 970 g1 gaming
In a normal game (starcraft 2) on my monitor (1440x900) the temp is 50C-ish

But when we played black ops 3 on 2 monitors (2 player split sceen so 1 player on 1 monitor) (the game was all maxed out)

The gpu went up to 62C is that still normal or i should reapply thermal paste?
(Bcs i have some to spare anyway)
My case is the zalman z11 plus with 7 fans
cpu is i7 6700k watercooled
Ambient temp is 20C-ish

Thank you for your help

As Hawkshot said, Gpu's are made to beable to withstand high temps. 62c is actually a good temp under load, the only time you should be worrying about it is when it gets into the 80's and 90s, If your gpu does get very hot it will actually underclock itself to cool down and if it gets so hot it will turn itself off to avoid breaking. They are very safe and 62c is absolutely fine.

NVIDIA says that the maximum temperature for the GeForce GTX 970 is 98 degrees C. You can check this out on their site here:

http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-970/specifications

Most people don't worry as long as the card stays under 85 C.

One of my friends is running their 970 in a home office with no air conditioning, and the card still stays at 88 C with a room temperature of 32 C (about 90 F)! They get cooked, but the card seems to be fine. Very noisy, of course.
