Hey this is my first time posting on this site and I would like to give a shout out to all the people on this site who help and make the DIY community possible.

With that out of the way, down to business:

The list goes as the following-

Single cpu loop: 5820k cpu maximum tdp 4.6 @1.4 is 350 watts

Pump: Swiftech MCP655-B 12v Water Pump 75$ http://www.amazon.com/Swiftech-MCP655-B-Liquid-cooling-system/dp/B000ODOKV8

Tube Reservior: Bitspower Water Tank Z-Multi 150 Inline Reservoir - Ice Red or Bitspower Water Tank Z-Multi 250 Inline Reservoir - Ice Red 50-60$ http://www.frozencpu.com/products/9576/ex-res-157/Bitspower_Water_Tank_Z-Multi_250_Inline_Reservoir_BP-WTZM250P-BK.html

Radiators: Black Ice® SR1 360 Radiator Series Designed for Low Flow Fans - Black http://www.performance-pcs.com/black-ice-sr1-360-radiator-series-designed-for-low-flow-fans-black.html#Additional-Information

Water Block: EK-Supremacy EVO X99 - Nickel $ 67.99 https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-supremacy-evo-x99-nickel

Coolant: Distilled Water with PT-Nuke silver Coil

Tubing: Monsoon Hardline Tube 3/8 x 1/2 - Blood Red http://www.performance-pcs.com/monsoon-hardline-tube-3-8-x-1-2-4-pack-blood-red.html

~6x 16$ compresion fittings ID 3/8 X OD 1/2 (not sure yet)

Thanks, I'm new to water cooling so hopefully I didn't do anything to dumb........

Biggest corrosion metal to avoid would be aluminum, but you can get some issues with others, although it's less prevalent. If you use PT Nuke, you don't need a killcoil - I actually argue that you don't need a killcoil at all and they don't serve any real purpose. Biocide or some form of antimicrobial additive should cover you for any growth.

well you can not use just any standard compression fittings for hardline, they do make a lot of fittings for this type of tubing.

but you seem to have a good grasp on what your trying to build, the rest of it looks fine to me.(you probable already knew this too)

I urge you to reconsider the pump and get the one with speed control.

I also suggest since you want to run distilled water and PT-Nuke (Copper Sulfate?), that you forget the Silver Coil and swap your water block to the EK Supremacy EVO copper version, then you won't have any mixed metal coolant problems at all.

One last tip, Beware of FrozenCPU!
And try to get everything you need from one place you'll save a chunk in shipping charges, you can 100% trust Performance-PCs.

I heard about Frozen CPU (its a shame) and will change links to perfpcs, I meant to have my coolant as distilled water and a silver coil, something I thought people call PT-Nuke? So assuming from what you say, Nickel and Copper are too dissimilar and induce Galvanic corrosion? I don't want to risk corrosion so I tried to avoid any coolant other than distilled water and a silver coil. So if I wanted to use that nickel block, would I have to find a radiator with nickel fins? Or is there a certain thing? Thanks so far.

Thanks for the sticky by the way, very helpful.

If you are determined to use a nickle plated water block EK recommends using their premix coolant, and Koolance will not honor their warranty on nickle plating unless you use their premix coolant, EK has not refused to honor their warranty.

But if you are going to use the EK nickle plated water block, I suggest using their coolant to avoid any problems, but if you use their premix coolant do not add anything else to it at all, including a silver kill coil.

My suggestion was aimed at an all copper loop thus the suggestion of the copper EK water block and just avoid any other mixed metal problems, allowing you to simply run 100% pure steam distilled water and PT-Nuke (Copper Sulfate > 1 drop per Liter).

Reason being distilled water coolant has the best thermal conduction properties, and the more you add to the coolant the less effective it becomes.
