Could a Corsair Hydro H80i GT be able to cool an i7-4790K enough?

Thanks very much for the quick answer :) Going to be upgrading my PC ine the coming months so I want to make sure I have some nice and not too expensive cooling

Should be good enough, I would think it should be fine, perhaps a lil noisier than you expect. Also note the above article is @ 1.3V and 4.6Ghz. I wouldn't take the voltage that high and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't normally either, but It may have just been a standard for the benchmark.

My PC is loud anyway xD. Do you think my current PSU is enough? It's a 750 W and I'm running a 970 SC, a very small motherboard (getting new MB soon, mostlikely a MSi Z97 Gaming 7), a 2 TB harddrive and a 120 GB SSD. Really don't want to spend more money on a new PSU too.

You can always tone down the noise if you like via Corsair Link. The H80i GT is C link compatible, might as well take advantage of it and set your own noise/performance preference.

If he wants to overclock that is, the op made no mention of that ;)

Eh, doesn't bother me too much, only if others can hear it on my mic I'll have to do something about it :p Thanks anyways
