Looking for a budget custom gaming PC

i would like to build my own gaming pc, but i have never built one before. i need recommended builds for the $600 range, as well as a suggestion for mouse/keyboard and a monitor. looking to overlock, play next gen games as well as older ones at 1080p/60fps. I'm trying spend around $875 total. any and all help is greatly appreciated

You have some lofty goals on a somewhat tight budget. The setup below is a good start for an overclocking setup with a PSU sized for a pair of large GPUs. This would have you running with the on-board GPU for now. Add an SSD and a GPU when you can (GTX 970 / R9 380 or larger), then a second in SLI / CF if you need more graphics power.

If you want to forgo overclocking, the setup below is for a single GPU. This is what I would recommend as you don't need to overclock to game at high settings. ...especially at 1080.
