could do with some help oc my cpu again..few years back i went through the process with a friend but i dont think i got it completly stable or since i upgraded gpus to sli maybe i need to change something as i experince classic "application stopped working" messages in games now more frequently then before.. id like to get back on it and hopefully sort it out. iv left the BCLK at 100 and only changed the cpu ofset to 0.025v ram on 1.5v (xmp 1600mhz) everything els left on auto can some one help me out i think i might need to disable or enable stuff in my bios but im not sure what . im aiming for a 4.5ghz. im using a corsair h100 if you need anymore info just ask.thanks

Did you upgrade your PSU when you went to SLi? Perhaps your current one can't supply enough clean power to the system and is causing it to become unstable.

There's no real way to tell without either buying a tester or getting a shop to do it, and these days either would cost you a good bit of the price of a new one.
i started from scratch with the overclock. not that confident but if anyone can give me more advise on what im doing i would be greatfull... left everything at auto. changed multiplyer to 40 and set llc and phase control to high set cpu volt to 300 and manule cpu volt to 1.030.. iv booted into windows. this seems to be the lowest volt needed to get into windows at 4.0.. if there is somthing im doing wrong please help me out.thanks
