Hello, my USB 3.0 speeds have been really slow for some time now and I'm just getting round to trying to fix it. Trying to transfer files from an external HDD to a USB and I'm getting speeds of about 30Mb or lower. (Both devices are USB3 compatible)
I have all my films on the external so putting movies on the USB can take some time
I have tried with the Device manager and changing the policies but that has done nothing, i have tried plugging both of the devices into the on board USB3 (on the motherboard instead of the case USB3) but that has still done nothing and i cant seem to find anything else online.
Also my SSD transfer speed seems a bit slow, when transferring from one to the other it starts off at about 400Mbps then within 10 seconds drops to about 100Mbps, I'm not sure if that is just the speed it runs at but it seemed a little slow for an SSD, same with the USB3 iv seen people get at least 100Mbps.
If anyone could help it would be very appreciated.
The devices use:
Intel 530 Series 120GB Solid State Drive
Corsair UFD3 COR Voyager GO 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive
Seagate Expansion 1TB USB 3.0 Portable 2.5 inch External Hard Drive
