My home network is, with the exception of my laptop, perfectly fine. When I turn on my laptop and connect to the network, however, every device connected to the network loses its connectivity partially or completely. Sometimes only the internet on the laptop still works, while on every other device it is disconnected or displays the "partially connected" symbol, and sometimes not even the laptop internet is functional and no device works at all. If one device remains connected it usually fails after a few minutes, even sometimes some websites work while the majority do not. I do not think this a number of devices issue, it will crash the network just the same when my housemates with their respective devices are home or out. The only solution is to reset the router and turn off the laptop. This has been the case for months and months and I do not use my laptop at home because of this. I leave it turned off, as soon as it is connected to the network the problems start instantly.
When I take my laptop to my university it, fortunately, does not crash the entire network, but it does refuse to stay connected for longer than 5-10 minutes. Once disconnected it will refuse to connect to the network for a few minutes, then let me back in, then stop working again ect. None of my peers have this problem.
Clearly something is wrong with the laptop itself as it refuses to operate normally on two completely different wi-fi networks. I did a virus scan, I do not know what else to do
