Hi guys, I am just wondering if I could turn my D-Link DSL-2640T wireless ADSLS modem/router into access point only ? I just recently change my broadband connection from ADSL to a faster fiber optic cable connection. I have a dead spot in some corner of my house. Just wondering if I could connect the old ADSL modem to the new optic network terminal, the model is Huawei HG8245A via the ethernet port on both devices with ethernet cable and make the D-Link act as an "wifi extender" ?
