Could I revive an old Dell 2009 desktop without upgrading the PSU? Here's the specs.

I'd say you would be pushing that PSU pretty close to the limit, especially since those AMD cpu's tend to use more power than advertised, id say your better going and getting a better power supply, additionally, its worth getting an i3 as it will give you much better general performance, while using considerably less power. (assuming of course you havn't gotten these parts yet)

ps- also what ajhockey3 said, those prebuilt systems are notorious for using shitey psu's

My brother currently has an Athlon X2 and I want to give him my old FX6300 + Mobo since I upgraded. He can't afford a better PSU, so I might just end up selling the Mobo and CPU.
