Hello,

So I've had my computer for 5+ years now. I think one of my hardware is starting to fail now but I don't know which.

When does the crash occur?

Before, it used to just happen regularly. I thought it might be a virus so I reformatted my computer with a clean installation. Doing this got rid of the issue. However, this issue re-occurred once I started getting into streaming games. When I stream myself playing a game, the crash occurs.

What crash? What happens?

So what happens when my game crashes is..... Let's say I'm playing a game called Counter Strike Global Offensive. At the same time, I'm streaming via twitch.tv. The game would just freeze (in loading screen or when I alt-tab) and there is no way I'm able to close it when it happens. However, during this crash, I'm still able to alt-tab and move my mouse but I'm not able to close the game. The game will be on the bottom and even closing it won't work (with right click). I've tried opening up task menu and force close it but I'm not able to click on any application on the task menu although I'm able to open it up. Another issue that occurs during this crash is the mic stops working. Opening playback devices won't work either. Then when I restart/shutdown my computer from the start menu (during the crash because I'm still able to move my mouse), it all goes accordingly to black screen but my computer light led stays on and it gets stuck. This causes a very long time for the computer to shut down completely or restart.

What I've tried so far.

I tried doing the memory test from windows. It detected no errors so I'm ruling this one out for now. I've done several clean up on windows and disabled many unneeded features. My power management is set to "high performance". This is due to gaining better FPS for my game. None of my hardware are overclocked, they are at default. I'm suspecting that the problem may be my GPU, MOBO, or HDD. Possibly my CPU or RAM?

My Specs.

i5 2500k
GTX 660 ti
z68 fatal1ty professional motherboard
Corsair HX750 Gold Certified PSupply
Corsair H50 Liquid cooler
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000)
SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 ST1000DM005/HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM

Please let me know if there is any way I can test my GPU, CPU, HDD. All advice would be very appreciated! I really wish to start streaming my gameplays and resolve the issue of my computer crashing.

EDIT (UPDATE)--------------------------------------------------

Okay, the crash just happened again while I was playing a game and it happened while not streaming. So something with my hardware is definitely wrong. I managed to capture a screenshot before I force restarted my computer. Yes, I was able to move my mouse, but not close the game. My game froze and it got stuck there.

Please take a look and let me know what may possibly be wrong with my computer!

Thank you so much!
