Hey folks

I purchased my 4GB GTX770 2 years ago and i have to say it still does the job (60-70FPS Battlefield 4)

My question is, how long will it last? I know the i7 4790K Is a beast of a CPU and i have nothing to worry about it, i just want to know when the 770 is gonna run out of resources to run games, to be honest i don't see any big graphics games coming out soon (Overwatch has graphics but not like battlefield)

How well is the GTX770 doing today for you folks?

PS. Is anything bottlenecking anything?

The 770 is still a good card, I believe you will be fine for modern/near future gaming. I think you could definitely hold out till pascal comes out AND gets cheaper. Unless games decide to tell people who aren't loaded to F off.

bottlenecking is a relative term. By definition everything bottlenecks as soon as the next tech comes out .Whether or not that's a bad thing is entirely on perspective. a 770 and a 4790k in my opinion are fine and should last you a while longer. Depending on what you're trying to push and what you expect out of your card. For some people as soon as they don' get a stable 60fps on max settings it's useless for others they can deal with some drops here and their with a relatively good frame rate at high. So it depends, on what you're asking exactly.
