Hi everyone
I am new here,
I have the following computer specs:
Dell Precision T5500 Dual (x2) Xeon E5620 Quad Core 2.4GHz (12MB Level 3 Cache) / 8GB RAM (Can take up to 24GB) / 256GB SSD / Windows 7 Pro / DVDRW / Dual SLI NVidia NVS 295 Graphic cards!
I plan to use this for learning Photoshop and Cad Inventor.....will this be ideal?

Solution
It's a good station to learn on. CAD will work well the CPUs and GPUs, aged that they are. Photoshop will run alright (tho it doesn't ramp up for multi CPU like CAD does) but if its not too expensive upgrading the RAM will make PS a bit happier. ECC RAM can get pricey so it may not be worth it. Ideal would obviously cost a lot more since it would require all new hardware but for learning purposes thats not a bad place to start.
