thanks for the advice i always buy everything from newegg when doing a build. so i might have to change the memory and storage/power supply to something thats available on newegg. but my other question if you know. is how does the core i5 6600k perform on windows 7 does it take full advantage of its cores/strength?

and pretty much all the items i listed should be available on newegg
oh and also the monitor: if I were you I would go with a 120 hz or 144 hz refresh rate monitor so you can appreciate the high frame rates, I forgot to change that in the build. However a 120 or 144 hz monitor will add at least $100

I agree with dantheman0809, drop the 1tb ssd and even go raid with the western digital harddrives.. if its for gaming i would try and dump as much as you can on the GPU. GPU is what drives you gaming. and again i agree with him on the monitor forsure. you can always install more memory later but its much harder to drop more on a gpu...
