My friend has had a fps problem in cs 1.6 for a while now, and nothing we found doesn't seem to help...
Computer specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
amd athlon(tm) x4 740 quad core procesor 3,2 ghz
4 gb ram
amd radeon r7 200 series
He has confirmed that latest graphic drivers are installed, and he has amd catalyst control center installed and has tried changing to best performance. Vsync is disabled for removing the 60 fps lock in-game...
He tried changing various in-game options like rates (cmd, update...), fps_max, gl_vsync and many more i can't remember that were supposed to improve fps...
His lauch options are: -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd -nomsaa -nofbo
He also tried completely reinstalling steam and counter strike, nothing happened...
The only thing that we could think of that he hasn't tried is reinstalling windows, and if possible he would like to avoid that...
Any help is appreciated...
