So a few years back, I decided to buy a Alienware Aurora R4 due to my little knowledge on all pc components and didn't have enough confidence to build it myself. Since then I have wanted to "ease out the alienware" in the system and make it more of a custom rig rather than a expensive pre-built. I want to change out the case from the stock case to a HZXT H440, but since this was pre-built the motherboard is Alienware branded MicroATX board. I wanted to change out the case to make it more practical in terms on size, due to the stock AW case being incredibly oversized. What I wasn't sure of would it be better to buy a new Case, power supply and motherboard, and use all the other parts like Graphics card, processor and RAM from the Alienware and build it that way, like a new build. Or would it be simple enough just to swap over the parts into the new case, and upgrade as needed. I hope this has been worded well enough for you to be able to help me here. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
