Can I run Fallout 4 on my laptop?

I just want to know if I can run Fallout 4 on my laptop before I buy it. It would be very much appreciated. Here are my specs...

Ms Windows 8.1 64-bit
Intel Core i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.4GHz, 12.0GB Ram, Intel HD Graphics 4000

As of this moment Fallout 4 crashes when using any Intel HD graphics core. I tried playing the game on my laptop using the Intel HD 4400 because I was curious how well it could handle the game on low settings. When I click "Play"the screen goes black and the intro video does not play.

I've read a post when Googling around that one person was able to get the game running when he was curious about testing whatever Intel HD graphics core he had in his laptop. However, he had to try launching the game at least 15 times for the game to actually launch without crashes.

I believe the most recent Intel HD graphic drives are as of mid October 2015.

I wouldn't say all of them. I ran it fine on intel hd 4400 graphics, albeit it was hella low quality/res, but it ran at like 20-30 fps.

Hmmm... maybe I will try again tonight. Yours is the 1st post I've read where someone was able to play the game without any issues.

You should try to disable shadows in the FalloutPref.ini file. I would assume that will improve performance by about 5 FPS.
