I am looking to invest in a SSD in order to speed up my pc. What's a solid SSD during these sale days for 50-100 dollars? Thank you for your opinion.

SSD brands don't matter to much all perform pretty well the same on a SATA connector but thats different for M.2 ssd's and what not. Just looks for a special. Crucial and Sandisk make the chips most SSD's use so they're normally cheaper. I also likes Kingston's Hyper X SSD's

Thats a good one, OCZ products have been much better after Toshiba bought them out

+1 for the Samsung EVO 850 250GB USAFRet suggested.

The Samsung 850 EVO is one of the most reliable SSD's in its class, and has a longer warranty than any other SSD to support this. The Samsung EVO also comes with a fantastic software suite to ensure your SSD runs at optimal performance on your machine.

The Samsung 850 EVO is one of the best SSD drives you could possibly get right now.
