Sell as whole or part by part?

Hello, I'm planning on selling my Dell Dimension e521. I've looked at some of the prices that others are selling their Dell Dimension e521's at, as well as what the complications are for selling a computer part by part (especially with how old this model is) and was wondering if I could possibly make more money by selling the computer as a whole or part by part. If part by part, what prices would be appropriate? Any and all information will be greatly appreciated.

Thats because it won't play any modern games decently and would be better used as just for email or as a emergency back up system to dl drivers or something for your main system. No offense but the best part of that system is probably the monitor . I would just try and sell it cheap to some one or donate it.

Haha, I have people that are willing to take it, they just don't have any money to buy it

No offense taken, do you think it would be easier to sell it by parts (for someone who plans to incorporate it into a build) or to just try and sell it cheap on something like pendleton yard sales? Where I would sell it for a low price to a local.

Okay, do you by chance know where I can find a list of the parts used in this computer, (in case I need to know) because I can't seem to find anything online about the current/original parts, only replacements? Also, I have a WiFi adapter/card hooked up to it, would that by chance raise the price of it at all?

I bought a edimax wireless N wifi card for $14 from Amazon with a 1 year warranty so unless it is an AC card you might get enough for a Mickey D's value menu double cheeseburger. A small fry as well if you are really lucky.

Personally I could make out well by donating to Salvation Army and taking the tax deduction, but if you don't itemize that doesn't work.

Make a nice post on Craig's List and talk it up. You know what PT Barnum said.
