Stuck at login usb mouse can move but keyboard does not function. Safemode works

I am trying to log into windows 7 the password box blinks and for about 3 seconds I can type into the box. Then the cursor disappears from it I can still move my mouse around but I cannot click on anything. Keyboard no longer functions after that. Even if I do type in password the login freezes. Safe mode works with no issues I have tried system repair from installation media with no luck . Recovery is not really an option as I have no backup point. Id like to avoid a restore if possible.

Hello

If your Mouse works then
You can enable On screen Keyboard to type in login screen..

Steps to Enable On screen Keyboard:

1: Click on Ease of Access Button on Leftt bottom side of the screen
2: click to select the On Screen KeyBoard and make sure tick is on and click on apply .Done

or

You have to repair your windows or Format Your HDD and install a fresh copy of OS

VIRUS infection maybe a reason.

Computer freezes, but not on safe mode. sounds like a device or driver is playing up and safe mode does not load it being safe mode only loads bare minimum . Also do some virus/ malware checks with up to date software as this may be a possibility too.

Could you go in safe mode and download/ install BlueScreenView v1.55 http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html .it opens up your dump files and can reveal the faults . post a screenshot here after?
