I just finished build of my new PC, but before I ever began to install an operating system, I went into the BIOS and looking for some information, within about a couple of seconds after PC was been started, the graphics card stopped two cooling fans.
I knew that the MSI fans at a low temperature stops, but within about 20 minutes I went back to a running PC still on BIOS, and when I touched the heatpipes on the graphics card, so I almost burned my fingers on it as it was extremely hot - fans were still OFF ...
Of course tomorrow I will install the OS, and find the exact temperature of the GPU, but should I be afraid now?
When I received the graphics card, it was quite visible that at the box was something heavy and, therefore, the entire front of the radiator pushed back with equal force to board and chip - will be ok? No visual damage on card.
