Will an Asrock FM2A88M Extreme 4+ with a CM Force 500 mid tower be able to fit a Sapphire R9 270 (not X)?

Solution
If the case will accept up to a 12.5" graphics card and your card is only 8.5", it will be fine. Also a PCI-E 3.0 graphics card is fully backwards compatible with a PCI-E 2.0 slot.

As long as the motherboard has a PCI-Ex16 slot, any modern graphics card will physically fit. What you need to do is verify the card will physically fit within the case and that you have sufficient, quality power in order to run the card.

The motherboard has a PCIe 2.0 X 16. I don't know if the 2.0 makes a difference. Also with this http://cplonline.com.au/coolermaster-cm-force-500-with-500w-psu-for-500-kkr500-n1.html saying that the case can hold up to 12.5 inches and the graphics card being 8.5 inches, will the GPU fit into the case? Or will there be some space that i will have to deduct.
