On a PCI 2.0 mobo you will experience no difference between either of them since 2.0 of course won't support the full potential of 3.0. If the power consumption is important to you though, that should be considered.

They are both pcie 3.0 cards

which are backwards compatible with 2.0, as long as you have a 16x slot there is no performance loss


make sure you have a 650w or better power supply from a known good reviewed unit.
