Not exact on the PowerColor PSU but i would not trust it.
Corsair CX PSU's are terrible quality and absolutely are not meant for gaming. Some youtubers that recommend build use it because they were either fooled by everyone else around them that it is a good unit or they clearly have not done enough research.

PSU's are the heart of the build pumping fresh power to your build, if you have any issues with the electricity with a poor unit your expensive parts may be damaged.

Anyways, the following are excellent quality units for a good price, and it will be completely compatible and overclocking on it should be fine.

I would recommend the XFX TS 650W, it is on a delicious sale on newegg!

I was under the assumption that since the one that came with the GPU was 80+ gold that it would be good, is it worth going with something that's 80+ gold than 80+ bronze? Whether it's modular or not is not really a concern as my case does not have a window.

Gold isn't always better, it just means its more efficient. But build quality takes into account safety features and the variability of the electricity coming from the PSU. There are bronze PSUs in tier 1, and plenty of gold in tier 3 and 4. Grab something off Tier 1 or 2 if you are going to be putting your PC through it's paces, otherwise, don't dip below tier 3 even if you are trying to maintain a budget. Saving $30 won't do you much good if you fry your board.

80+ Bronze ~ 80+ Gold are meaningless when you compare them internally. The efficiency difference is negligible and will barely affect your power bill.

Efficiency doesn't mean quality, Corsair uses the 80+ Gold as a marketing ploy but uses poor quality components inside.

The PSU's i stated have excellent quality inside and have good effeciency.
