Hi all,

Recently my boot up times on my computer has doubled for some unknown reason even though im running my OS off my Samsung 850 Evo to boot. when ever I turn on the PC it goes to the Motherboard boot menu screen with all the options to get into the system setting so I tried to access the BIOS but neither the keyboard or mouse work at this screen but they both work perfectly once the computer has turned on so just a bit confused as to what's going on, if you need it system info is below.

CPU: i5-6600k OC 4.0Ghz
GPU: R9 290x
Mobo: Gigabyte Z170
PSU:EVGA 650W G2
OS: Windows 10
Keyboard: Roccat Isku
Mouse: Razer Naga molten edition

ok, 2 things you can check
#1 Plug in an old keyboard or mouse, ps/2 if you can or the oldest you can find. Some gaming keyboards or usb keyboards only start working once windows loads them up (its stupid i know, had the same problem), try spamming f2 after new keyboard or mouse is plugged in (avoid usb keyboards)
#2 when you boot up go to task manager and select the startup tab, disable all the startup options that you do not want to start up when pc boots, this will greatly increse your boot spead...
Let me know how everything turns out :)

ive tried using an old keyboard to no avail plus this current keyboard use to work before boot less than a week ago, also its not start up processes causing the problem as its getting stuck at the motherboard bootup menu for longer for some reason, as soon as its done the motherboard loading screen the boot up of windows and those systems its almost instant.
