I am not overclocking my system yet but I plan on it. The question I have is I plan on getting faster ram 1866 or 2133 and most of the 2133 has 1.6 volts. Right now I am using 1600 at 1.5 volts. Do I need to change anything in my voltage or just put the ram in and thats it. Will my system change it automatically. I have a i5 4690k, gigabyte g1 snyper z97 motherboard, msi gtx 970, 16 gigs of 1600 ram. The reason I am not overclocking yet is I have never done it so I need to learn and I have to put in more fans and a good cpu cooler.

Install the DRAM and go into BIOS and enable XMP, it will set the DRAM up for you - including proper voltages
