I am building a computer, and I would like to know if Amazon or Best Buy have discounts on CPUs / GPUs on Black friday / Cyber monday, and to be more specific : Can I expect a discount of 10% or more on Intel i7 6700k and gtx980ti AMP! extreme ?

Thank you for your time.

The issue is you don't know until the day.

If you see discounted items on Friday it is unlikely to see them fall more on the monday.

Look at 980 Ti's in general, The skylake cpu's may not be as I reckon the 4XXX cpu's will sell for next to nothing. FYI I would go 4XXX unless you decide you need 3000mhz RAM

I would expect discounted bundles, not necessarily heavily discounted CPUs from most of the etailers. I don't think the Haswell chips are considered overstock just yet. Still Sandy and Ivy bridge chips out there though.

Best Buy isn't really in the component business, they pretty much match the online retailers. Most of their money comes from high priced, need it right now, accessories, extended warranty, and installation support. Their door busters are usually TVs and whole computers. (You can occasionally get a nice core system out them since the i7 desktops don't sell all that well)

If I choose any 4XXX CPU will it have a noticeable effect on gaming experience ?

In a lot of situations the i7-4790k beats out the new i7-6700k. Not really sure on the 4690k vs the 6600k. You can reach higher overclocks with Haswell but the new architecture is overall faster.

From a gaming perspective I think you would hard pressed to tell the difference.
