New build. The only thing I have attached to my mobo (sitting on a mobo box) is 24 and 4 pin connectors, CPU with heatsink, and a system speaker. CPU fan turns on (by applying screwdriver to power on pins) as well as case fan (if I plug it in). No video, no POST. I plugged and unplugged everything possible.
Notice that I think that my CPU requires a video card? however I still should be hearing beeps.
Let me edit that the CPU fan runs for about a minute then shuts off

happened to me literally 2 hours ago after cable tiding. Double check the motherboard 24 pin power and the orientation of the CPU power. Also reseat the memory and make sure its in correctly

i would disconnect everything you dont need. Hard drives, CD, etc. Even the power to those devices. Try with only 1 stick of RAM. Make sure all the power cables are right and seated properly. Check the CPU fan is in the CPU fan socket on the motherboard. Try a different power cable.

I had a similar problem with this motherboard. The first time I RMA'd the board because of no POST, no matter what I did.
The second board did the same. I seated and re-seated the memory, even though it seemed to be perfectly installed, and got POST. No issues since. Does the board even have a speaker? Take a look, or maybe it's loose in the box. Mine didn't, hence no diagnostic beeps.
Also, double-check the memory compatibility charts
